Develop a funnel management standard for a national port
The largest port of the Netherlands strives to be a leader in the energy transition and has the goal to be carbon neutral by 2050. To reach this goal they have increasingly been taking part in various transition projects. An opportunity maturation and portfolio/funnel management methodology can be used to deal with the complexities of being involved in these projects. The energy transition projects comprise various sectors (e.g., industry, infrastructure, offshore/maritime) and energy modalities (electricity, natural gas, hydrogen, heat and CO2).
Our role
Darel introduced and supported the implementation of the port funnel management standard. This included masterclasses with mandatory attendance for all key staff and the coaching of senior managers and the various funnel boards.
